Visit Central Club

Toastmasters is a group that allows one to practice their public speaking skills and build confidence in a very supportive setting. We practice impromptu speaking, preparing speeches, and giving feedback.

We meet every week on Wednesday evenings. Typically our club is a dinner club; in the past, we have met at local restaurants in a private room. However, due to COVID and ensuing restrictions, we have been fully virtual since last year! Other than being virtual, the meeting format remains unchanged. Until restrictions lift, we will be holding Zoom meetings at the same time (starting 7:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM (sometimes earlier), with a ~ 10 minute break half-way).  We do start the meeting at 7:00 sharp, so please arrive 5-10 minutes before that.  Please feel free to join us at our next meeting!

We hope you visit us as a guest and get a feel for how a Toastmasters meeting runs, which you are free to do as many times as you wish.

We realize that speaking in front of a group can be daunting at first, so you are welcome to simply listen. Although you may be given the opportunity to speak if you like, you will not be pressured to speak any sooner than you feel comfortable doing so.

It is free to be a guest at a meeting with us – there is no guest fee, and membership fees are reasonable.
